Iranian Memorizers Leaves for Jordan to Attend Int’l Quran Contest

IQNA – Hossein Khani Bidgoli will represent the Islamic Republic of Iran at the international Quran competition of Jordan this week.

The memorizer of the entire Quran left for the Jordanian capital of Amman on Tuesday. 

The 32nd international Quran competition of Jordan will kick off in Amman on Thursday and run for a week.

The closing ceremony will be held on the 26th day of the holy month of Ramadan.

Khani Bidgoli came fifth in Iran’s National Holy Quran Competition last year.

Born in 1996 in Aran and Bidgol, central Iranian province of Isfahan, he started learning the Quran by heart at the age of 11.

He managed to memorizer the entire Quran after entering the Islamic seminary.

He won the top title in the first international Quran competition for seminary students in 2017. He also came second in the international Quran competition of Russia.
